A group meet every Friday at 2pm to at Countesthorpe Scout Hut to enjoy a friendly (but competitive) game of Carpet Bowls.

The carpet is 30ft long by 6ft wide which makes it sound easy but there is a block of wood in the middle to negotiate, which adds to the fun!The group play in a relaxed and jovial manner, everyone enjoys themselves and goes home feeling all the better for coming!

It's a fun way to start the weekend and transport can probably be arranged if necessary. The cost is usually £1.50 per week which includes tea and biscuits at half time. Anyone wishing to join would be most welcome.
